IRF4 overexpression attenuated colon cancer damage. SW480 cells were transfected with LV-IRF4, LV-ctrl, LV-sh-IRF4 or LV-shRNA. Normal SW480 cells served as control. QRT-PCR (a) and WB (b) were performed to assess the gene and protein expression of IRF4 in the modified SW480 cells. BALB/c mice were injected with normal or the modified SW480 cells. c The expression of IRF4 in the tumors of mice was measured by qRT-PCR. The colon tissues form normal BALB/c mice served as control. d HE staining was performed to explore the pathological changes of tumors.
