Fibroblast-derived Serpin E1 induces Serpin E1 expression in cancer cells within subcutaneous and peritoneal tumors of nude mice. A, B Expression of Serpin E1 and CD18 in subcutaneous (A) and peritoneal (B) tumors was assessed through polychromatic immunofluorescent staining using confocal microscopy. The fluorescence intensity was quantified using Image J software. The ratio of red fluorescence (Serpin E1) to green fluorescence (CK18) indicates Serpin E1 expression in cancer cells. DAPI (blue fluorescence) was used for labeling the cell nucleus. Scale bars: 400 μm. Bar graphs show the mean ± SD (n = 3); *p < 0.05, and **p < 0.01
